First you need to know how many Weight Watchers points you can have each day. These are supposed to be used in conjunction with the 49 weekly points you get that can be “spent” in any way you choose. Points are simple numbers developed by Weight Watchers, and they stand for various combinations of fat, protein, carbohydrate, and fiber. For many people, this is much easier than calorie counting. But you have to know how to figure your points out, so here is one video that can be of help.

Each year at about this time, after the holidays have closed and the new year approaches, I get to thinking about the things that I want to accomplish in the next year. I know it might seem silly, but I like New Year’s resolutions and I really like the idea that I am trying to better myself. Two years ago I was thinking about my goals, and the one at the top of my list was to get fit. It was not a desire just to lose weight and become thinner, I wanted a healthy and fit body. So I did what a lot of people do and what I had done in the past and I got a gym membership. Only that time it stuck. If you have had trouble getting your New Year’s resolution to get into the gym to stick and for good, here are some things that I learned along the way.

You will never ever regret going to a workout, but you will certainly always regret missing one. We all do it. We sit their pondering over whether we should go sweat it all out at the gym. Some days we’re lazy, some we’re tired, and a lot of the days we just don’t want to, period. Even if it is just a thirty minute walk on the treadmill, you will likely feel better after exercising.

You have to make the time for the gym, otherwise you probably won’t go. In the past when I tried the gym I would think that I would go if I had the time in the day. If I woke up early enough or got out of work at a decent hour, I could maybe swing by the gym. Unfortunately I still hit that snooze button each morning and when I would leave work I just wanted to go home. The way my workouts stuck was when I started putting the workouts on my calendar. My day was scheduled around my gym time, and it still is.

A gym buddy is your best tool. I know that going to the gym alone can be incredibly intimidating. I have spent so much money on wasted memberships because of this. A pal to workout with will change your outlook all together and motivate you to show up and work your butt off.

Most people who do not regularly workout have some kind of excuse as to why. The number one excuse from these people is that they do not have enough time to get in a workout. Certainly that is not the truth at all. If you have ever used this as your excuse for not making it to the gym or taking twenty minutes to get in a quick workout, then I want you to think about all the minutes you have spent on Facebook or Pinterest in the last week. All those minutes combined would probably be enough for you to have gotten in some great workouts.

So now that time is no longer a factor (right?) you should probably get to working out. But what workout is the best for you? Maybe you want a full body workout that will not take up too much of your time. If that’s the case, then see the image below for a great full body workout. You can even do it in your own home with the appropriate tools.

And remember for the best results, perform the workout three or four times a week and do at least twenty minutes of cardio each day. You will be glad you took that time you didn’t know you had to work on your body.

Then, there’s the cabbage soup diet. And the 3 hour diet. And the master cleanse. The list goes on and on. While many people would have to admit that at some point in their lives they have resorted to one of the more extreme fad diets, at least temporarily, very few can say they have achieved lasting results from such extreme restrictions. There are some diets out there that work really well, however: instead of banning entire food groups, they support a whole foods sensibility that encourages eating in a more balanced, healthful way that leaves no one permanently deprived of anything. They also don’t require hiring a personal trainer or even a home security team. The result? Let’s have a look.

Diets such as Weight Watchers and even Slim Fast seem to provide the desired results with the most sustainable long term rewards when followed correctly. The infographic below puts Weight Watchers at the top of the list of the most successful diet plans, but incorrectly lists under “Cons” that it requires weekly meetings and public weigh-ins: I would like to point out that one can also sign up for Weight Watchers Online, the Internet-only version of Weight Watchers in which participants weigh themselves weekly and track everything online without ever setting foot in a meeting.

Body by Vi was developed by ViSalus Sciences. It was created as a way to help people to reach their goals. These goals can be to lose weight, tone up, or just be healthier overall. It is not a diet that will leave you feeling deprived and hungry, but it is a system that helps speed the metabolism, fight fat, and encourage lean muscle.

If you have any health and fitness goals that you are having a difficult time reaching, then check out the Body by Vi Challenge. I am definitely going to be talking to someone at the gym about it to see how I can reach my health and fitness related goals.

Here is a video to help you learn more!

Unfortunately, common running mistakes can lead to troublesome injuries that can really set you back. If you’re a P90x refugee looking for something just about as demanding, but a little less intense, then running might be just the exercise for you — but take some lessons from people who have been there and done that in order to prevent injuries.

The following infographic is a great overview of the kinds of mistakes people make when they begin running, and what sorts of injuries those mistakes are likely to cause. Consider it a primer on what not to do before you tie those running shoe strings and hit the cross country or pavement. Starting any new exercise should be done after consulting with your physician, who can advise you about any considerations you may need to be aware of based on your specific medical conditions. Click to expand, then, start running!

Men are not ones who normally enjoy shopping however; there are times when they have no choice. Especially, when it comes to keeping up with style, looking professional and have all key components to have all needed accessories such as a men watches. When looking at the right watch for men you will see that gold is usually the chosen medal of watches when it comes for style.

Generally, the watches men want to wear are gold and this is because men believe gold is eternal symbol of higher living standards, the rise in gold prices has mad gold watches form men even more attractive for investment alone. The gift to a man is a no brainer, as most men want the gift of a gold watch. If you’re in the market to purchase, and want something unique, check out blumlux.com. The gold watches bought for the man who may be retiring. This is a normal practice that the management or company owners will buy the retiring man a gold watch.

A common jewelry metal is gold as god watches for men make a normal accessory of any of their outfits, whether worn with his work clothes or relaxing weekend clothes. Gold watches for men are usually the most common bought metals as far as a man watch preference is. Not only will the man buy the gold watch but also now, the men know that they have an accessory that for a lifetime will continue to grow in price.

The one thing that is popular for any men’s watch is gold. This helps the watch be durable lasting longer and the difference in the colors that are in the gold watches depends on the amount of carats of gold is the watch. As every gold product has carats and each one goes up with a higher amount of gold, such as the eighteen-carat offers over seventy-five percent of real gold in the metal.

If you are planning on buying the right watch for a man you should keep in mind that the rose, red, pink, yellow, or white gold are not made in nature. For example, a rose gold watch made from a mixture of gold and copper alloy. Some may even include silver metal as it can vary in which color is based on the amount of the gold and copper used thus differing the amounts of gold.

White gold watches made with the combination of gold and either palladium, platinum or nickel metals. Yellow gold includes copper and silver metals. When buying a man’s watch the white gold is made of natural gold and palladium, as this metal is not natural. Sound confusing, it truly is not, you only need to find a gold watch. There are several types and colors of gold, but no matter the decision, you should only worry about the carats of the gold and if you are buying for yourself that you like the watch. No matter the gold, remember while buying a man’s watch there is waterproof and special faces on the watches. Some will have dates; some are digital, and others are made as the faceplate being just the seconds and minutes hands. There are so many different watches and the faces of these watches are all different.

Lucky for you I found something that can help you take all the guesswork out of whether or not you should go out and spend some serious bucks on special shoes that claim to help you tone up even better than typical athletic shoes. Just look at what a couple of different studies have revealed in the infographic below. I am not sure if I was really surprised by the findings or not, but I will let you see for yourself how these so called toning shoes fared in comparison to regular running shoes. Click on it to enlarge it.
